Im pretty sure in this case, i can say, "they got served"... hardcore.

Interesting backstory. THe guy leaking the info at Ferrari was a chief mechanic who had hoped to be moved up into the higher echelons of the team, the guys working in the office building, but he was kept "in the garage". The mechanic Nigel Stepney, was a key member of all of Schumacher's Ferrari Championships. Once Schumacher retired and the chief Technical Director Ross Brawn decided to leave Nigel thought he would move up. That didn't happen so he looked for work at the Honda and Toyota F1 teams but not before lending an 800 page manual to his buddy at McLaren. The McLaren drivers then started trading this information, information that included what stop Ferrari would be pitting on!
Now I hear that McLaren's double world champion driver Alonso used this stolen information as blackmail/leverage agains the boss Ron Dennis at McLaren to secure himself top driver status against his rookie team mate who has been leading the championship all season. LOTS of bad blood in shark tank.
the F1 soap operas are more interesting than the yawnnn.... dull races.
