So I found this driver side litronic on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220164048819&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123

Contacted the buyer agreed to a price off of ebay. I paid by Paypal and it showed up the other day. I thought all was well until I get it installed.....

The 'eye' isn't aligned.....

I sent the lady an email asking for an exchange, another driver side litronic, or a refund this evening and have yet to hear from here. I don't think I was scammed, she has 100% positive feedback with 2000+ feedback.

Do I have any power to ensure I get my money back since I paid with Paypal?

I've never had a bad experience with anything I paid for by Paypal so I'm hoping someone here could help me out with advice or input.

Pretty sure you do have a recourse. Check with Pay Pal or even if you paid via credit card put a stop payment to the transaction and they will contact you for satisfaction. I believe that PayPal uses a major credit charge for your purchases therefore there must be some sort of problem solving with a transaction that goes awry.
Also if you bought insurance for the article as part of the payment, you can say the shipping misaligned the light and that the unit needs to be returned to be fixed or exchange.

I talked to the seller this morning and they are taking it back for a full refund. Awesome.

PayPal was great when I was scammed by a nefarious eBayer who collected $800+ for a camera I never received. Total refund from Paypal. Scammer is no longer on eBay - or at least using the same name.
