con air
daredevil
exit wounds
face off

spy game
starsky & hutch
swordfish
the rock

Thanks,

Nick

You need movies that really take a vantage of the surround sound like the Star wars movie where little obe drive in that race with a pod racer... i dont like star wars but that movie is great with surround sound.

Other Suggestions are:
Bad Boys II
Legend of Ricky Bobby
Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift

pretty much anything with alot of action that has the Surround Sound Logo printed on the exterior of the DVD cover.

+1 on anything DTS (providing your system supports this)

the Top Gun DVD actually has fantastic sound. I usually pop that one in when I want to demo my system to people who drop by.

Nick, do you have DTS? A dedicated sub-woofer? Are you fiber optic for your audio connection to your amp?

Kill, what is special about THX (George Lucas)? Won't any simple system, like 5.1 support THX? Did you mean to say DTS?

Nick, the battle scenes (opening battle scene is awesome!) in "Master & Commander- The Dark Side of the World" is a great surround-sound movie.

You know what else is awesome....The Eagles- Hell Freezes Over concert DVD!

I second the comments about the Star Wars movies too.

Nick, let me know if you want to borrow the Eagles or Star Wars (I have the one with the Pod races).

Best concert ever. Saw them in DC.

Grizz, I'd give my left nut to see them in concert! Did you see them last week on 60-Miuntes? Great interview. I am going to buy the new CD for my wife as one of her Xmas gifts.

Blink, you just made me feel so old that I may have to kill myself now.

Bill, I didn't see them on 60 Minutes. For the Hell Freezes Over Tour, we were in floor seats about 10 rows back. Unbelievable. Joe Walsh is up there without his false teeth. He was not pretty, but damn can that boy play! About halfway through the show, Henley wants to talk about the environment. Whatever. But he goes backstage and comes out with this gigantic Bald Eagle on his arm. It was like the highlight of the show for me. Being from North Philly, I haven't seen a whole lot of Bald Eagles up close.

The terminator came out in 1984.

The comments about this movie coming out before people were born are also making me feel old.

Days of Thunder. During the track scenes it feels as if you're sitting on the infield. You can hear the car travel around the track. Plus Tom Cruise's hair is AWESOME in it.
