This car is selling for far too little money with no reserve. Is it the lousy fuel economy and the lousy American economy keeping bidders away from it?

I wish I had $30k lying around to buy it. I live 2 miles from work and fuel economy isn't that big of a deal for me.

I bet this auction will end early when it becomes apparent that no one will pay close to their undisclosed "reserve". Heck call em yourself and show up and see if they let you walk out with it for 30K. Between the tanking of the markets, higher fuel costs, insecurites about jobs etc, who is confident enough to spend 30-40K on a depreciating asset today?
