View Full Version : Where do you sell your old CD's?

With the ever increasing popularity of the iPod, keeping a large collection of CD's and albums doesn't appear to be worthwhile anymore. I went through a period of reducing my album collection back in the late 80's when the CD craze took hold, but still have around 350. My CD collection is around 1,300. I know that there are places that buy/sell used CD's, but thought I would check around to see if anyone can provide any recommendations on reputable companies to deal with.

The primary reason for wanting to sell is that my new home has a home theater that is controlled by a media center computer with a terabyte of storage. I have spent two weeks downloading all of my CD's onto the computer (iTunes). I have the catalog backed up on a couple of portable drives in case of a HD crash. I find that I enjoy my music collection much more now that it is on the computer (hooked up through my stereo system) since I no longer have to sort through hundreds of CD's to find what I am looking for.
