You may want to do a search, there have been many threads on detailing products and wax, detail spray, etc.
I'll pass one on to you, Aerospace 303 works really well on all the rubber and vinyl trim. IT takes some rubbing to get the surface texture back like new, but then the 303 keeps it that way. It actually chemically replaces what the vinyl lost to UV and weathering. The trim around the doorpost to door and right at the back of the door to the rim around the top was looking nasty on mine. In about 10 minutes it looks like new. :D
It's available in small bottles (8oz) from Campmor.

+1 on the griotsgarage. I spent a good four hours on Sunday using their stuff on my car - looks better than the day I drove it home from the dealership. I don't think it is the cheapest option, but it is great.

Yes.
It is for rubber and vinyls. I also put it on the dash and door panels. It even says use it on tires to stop dryrot/UV degradation, especially on boat trailers and RVs that sit most of their lives.
According to the manufacture, who's included pamphlet is pretty informative, it is, in essence, sunblock for vinyl and rubber, as well as replacement plasticisers that are lost from heat and UV. They claim dash panels and other vinyls crack and split due to the loss of the plasticisers in the topcoat over the PVC foam. Once the topcoat splits, the degradation of the raw PVC underneath is catastrophic. I think we've all seen what they are describing.
Ever wonder what that nearly impossible to clean off residue on the inside of your windshield is?
Rick3000 turned me on to it and several others verified their suggestion.

Dont forget about finish kare! I have a black car and their line is awesome for
Black. I use the 118 Exterior Shampoo Concentrate + pH Neutralizer
next the 2180 Ultra Poly Wipe Sealant (Anti-Static) as a base coat for the wax and
on top, 1000 Hi Temp Synthetic Paste Wax.
After every wash and wax or anytime, I use the 425 Ultra Slick Poly Wipe Spray Detailer - Anti-Static. This is the best stuff I have ever used as a detail spray and after wash spray. It takes any water spots off and creates a slick surface that dust doesnt stick to.
The products are reasonable as well.
Check them out here www.fk1usa.com/products-consumer.htm
Here is a pic of the results!
Best of luck!
