that thing is fugly. i really hope it looks a LOT different when they finally release it. things are not looking good; it looks like someone put a body kit on a station wagon.

It's not that bad. I like the ... ummm ... side mirrors ... and ... yeah ... did I mention the side mirrors?

The Cayenne is super popular in my part of Dallas and I fully expect the Panamera to sell well no matter how much of a Frankenstein it looks.

The Cayenne GTS in person is one gorgeous car....that thing looks kind of ugly....and worse yet I saw spy shots of the new Cayenne and it looks horrid....like an Infinit fx 35 :eek:

I agree with Timothy too, the Parkies in Dallas will buy it just because it is a Porsche, but just because it is expensive doesn't mean it is good looking.

I have an idea.

Take the front and use it on a new 911 that does not look the same as the 911 did in say, 1965.

Take the back end to the dump for crushing.

the panamera sort or reminds me of that guy who still wears his high school letterman jacket in his mid twenties. it tries to invoke the 911 (especialy from behind), but fails miserably. it needs to realise it's a grown up and dress the part.

or maybe it reminds me of that hot girl in college who's ass got fat; i really don't know. what i DO know is that very few things are so ugly as to evoke anger from me. rosie o'donnell is one; the panamera seems another......

I'm sure someone will buy one because having too much money often ruins one's ability to judge what is attractive and what is not.

You'd never catch me behind the wheel of that monstrosity.

I bet it will get a facelift within the first two or three years and be better looking. Well, at least that's my hope.

The concept drawings were much better, but isn't that always the case?

I like it much better with an air intake large enough to swallow small children. We have Porsche sports cars, an SUV, and soon to be a station wagon. What's missing you ask? Introducing the Crapster -- Porsche's first high performance minivan.

The front looks excellent, resembling the Carrera GT and Corvette a little bit.

The back though, wow they must have been under a strict deadline to make that as the back of a car!

It needs to be sloped more, perhaps make a extending trunk lid like you get in a normal sedan.

NOTE : Porsche should influence rear styling from the Benz CLS
