Charlie and I are in the preliminary stages of setting up a GBBG ride June 15 to the southern Maine seacoast (it won't be an exorbitant distance from metro Boston); as I am working on it now, the lunch arrangements will likely be substantially different than what we have entertained before, vis a vis, it will probably be a modest buffet or a limited menu. To get some idea if this is a "go", I need to know fairly soon how many can make a firm commitment to do it. Along with lunch, I hope to entertain the participants with scenic backroads that avoid the summer tourist congested main thoroughfares. Your feedback will be most appreciated. Thanks everyone.

We're going to have a visitor over one of the weekends in June. Not sure which one yet. Hopefully these won't collide.

John,
Sounds like a great trip. You can count JoAnn and I into the plans to attend. I can't tell you how I've looked forward to these club rides during the long cold winter.

I'm glad to see folks are coming out of hibernation and anticipating good Boxstering. I recently spoke with the owner of the restaurant and she has clarified that, in fact, one can reserve table(s) in the main dining room and choose from the entire menu, which will give us more options. She understood that our main purpose is to replinish our tummies, not spend the afternoon there. Anyway, this restaurant is about 1/2 -3/4 hr from the NH-MA border (I-95) (depending on weekend traffic), and I think Charlie will be proposing a meeting site/time based upon this and a likely noontime lunch.

Reply here or send me an email so that I can have a better idea of the reservation number. Thanks

I plan to attend the ride. I'm not sure if it will be one or two people yet.

We're good to go as long as it's not this weekend.
