RandallNeighbour

I will pay any person $100 to hunt down the man who designed these tail lamps and slap him around until he begs you to stop.
Then make him buy back ever set he ever sold and destroy them.
God damn ricers are like ants that creep into every orifice! :(

 just like my food, I HATE RICE. All we need now is a 6" muffler tip hanging sideways out the back. OH OH and a big metal spoiler and some Spree wheels. Of course lambo doors would be the shiznit. Does anyone wana photoshop that?

Um, that does not need to be photoshopped. Just google the words "lambo doors" and "boxster" and you'll find mod shops that have all sorts of pictures of riced out boxsters.
The old boxsters are now getting cheap enough to be used for lambo kits too... Fieros are no longer available, so they've moved over to my model year. Ugh.
ha-ha looks like a disco ball must have been inspired by that Liberace guy!
Tacky very tacky
that thing is made in germany.....
i think its the same guy who designed the MAF system in the box.
Please make it stop, it's hurting my eyes.

This is the 2nd thread in 2 days that I have read with a reference to and repudiating"ricers".
What does that mean?
Rice burners. Street racers. Highly modified cars.

What does that mean?
Race looking Japanese cars, many times show but sometimes go as well.
I'm still trying to figure out how to put in my crystal Chandelier with my retractable top.
Any suggestions?

You might consider a disco ball instead. It mounts very easily if you have the roof transport system.

This is an insult to all of us that cherish our Boxsters. It disgusts me. Why don't they just keep all that garbage for the rice rockets and leave the real cars alone.

I've never understood this kind of thinking. What does what someone does with their car have to do with yours?

It seems to me that there is a slight undertone of ethnic bashing because of the origins of these cars are from Asia. Would you be pleased to have your Porsche be called a Kraut Kar? Knockwurst Rocket? A Ferrari, a Fetuccini Rocket? I hope I'm making a point here!

That's hilarious, when I started reading this post I immdiately went looking for this exact same auction. At least it answer's the question, "Who buys these things?"
they are awful! but on a technical statement LED lit much quicker than conventional bulbs, which is why they have become common on rear break lights on lots of cars, specially third top strips. saying this i still wouldn't fit them to my car!!

For 987 owners, Porsche states that the new LED technology has advantages in service life and response time. The response time of bulbs is around 100 milliseconds while LEDs respond after 0.1 ms. This difference translates to a distance of approximately 9.8ft at a speed of 62mph, giving other drivers more time to react.
LEDs service life is in excess of 10,000 hours while bulbs need to be replaced after only 200-1,000 hours.
