30K service cost?

Hi All - I'm a newbie with a 01 Boxster. It'll be needing the 30K server in about 1.5K. One of the local dealers quoted a price of $800.00 and another $125 for a brake flush. The price seems really high. Is this a normal price for this service?

When my 30,000 mile service rolled around in went to IRA and after they quoted the $800 amount, I drove down Route 1 South to AutoBahn Performance in Peabody, MA. Saved over $300 for the same or more work. Give them a call. Depending on where you live, European Performance Engineering in Natick is another excellent independent shop. Good Luck.

Another good choice is Autosport Engineering in Stow. Mark and Len Cummings do excellent work at a reasonable price and always have lots of Porsche cars and accessories to ogle while visiting.
