Those of you with us in 2001 may remember this run, organized by Tom Kern. We visited the Breakers mansion, cruised Ocean Drive, and toured the Westport Rivers Winery.

This year I'd like to do an itinerary similar to this one...let me know what would be of interest. But first, vote on the best day(s) for you and we'll see the response.

The Newport Spring Boat show is May 30 - June 1.

Hello all...my wife and I are friends of Rey and Juliette as well as former Boxster owners, and I thought now would be a good time to chime in, although we now have a C4S!

We took a trip to Newport with our Boxster in November 2001 (on a 75 degree weekend) and it was great. We'd love to go again, but will be in Hawaii from 5/24 to 6/1. I'd encourage anyone to take a ride along Ocean Drive in a P-Car.

Hope to meet you all at a future occassion.

A friend recommended a "great Italian BYOB" restaurant in Newport some time ago - I can ask him for the details if that sounds interesting for the drive... this guy generally is selective about his food, so if he's recommending....

Damn. 24/25 are both DE days, and 31/1 are both AX days.

It is over 300 miles to R.I. from where I live. In the future I would be interested in an overnight run up that way, similar to what a few ESBBers are doing May 17th to Watkins Glen.
