The Best Bond film ever. this bond movie has more realistic feel: the exotic locales, fast car, spectacular action and beautiful women.
"Daniel Craig actually looking like a physically capable man instead of the middle aged paunch of Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan who both quite frankly couldn't beat up a Ritz cracker"
thats a funny comment. Ritz cracker hehehe.
i still need to see this, but my GF is not really up for seeing "he exotic locales, fast car, spectacular action and beautiful women" ;)

I second it as an awesome Bond film. Saw it last night and already want to see it again!
It was awfully long!
Highlight: Aston Martin DBS

We saw it Thanksgiving day and it was very good but a tad long. Wife wispered during the movie "is James's car better than the Boxsters we're looking at"? I told her it didn't matter we can't afford one but I would sure like a test drive. :D
Saw it couple of nights ago. Fantastic, and best Bond movie and actor I've seen. Has goodies for boys and girls alike, so GFs, fiances, and wives will not be disappointed.
just saw the movie tonite....talked my GF into seeing it. we had free tickets...and wow we were both amazed that most of the movie took place in our home country :) good ol' montenegro, god that place is beautiful

but you know...it wasnt all that 007 movie.
no gadgets, one car scene involving medical fix and one crashing the car, no Bond women we are used to, he falls in love...i mean c'mon, thats not the 007 i went to see. but i dont mind seeing it, cant wait for the new Rocky movie

I saw it based on recommendations here. Very un-Bond like to me. Too little of the Aston Martin, and he wrecks it!
It looks like they've remade the man to fit a much younger audience. That means I am old. Oh yeah, he didn't have nearly as many cool gadgets as he's had in the past.

What I liked about this Bond movie and Daniel Craig is their "reality". The action scenes are more raw and more believable. The bruises and wounds look real. This Bond is rough and jacked and you really believe that he can do those jumps and kick some major a** -- unlike the previous "puffy" Bonds. He is vulnerable both physically and emotionally, just like a human being. There's an underlying sadness and tiredness in him as one would expect in a spy (who can never afford to trust anybody). He isn't "handsome" and he doesn't stand out in a crowd -- which is also a realistic characteristic for a spy, and which is how he is described in the original Ian Flemming novels.
Just tried to sum it up. I'm not much into action movies and blockbusters (prefer independent, cerebral, and foreign films) but this one was a very nice 2hr diversion.
And yes, you should have seen my face when he crashed the Aston. The horror!!
