Mrs. Grizzly and I alternate car purchases. I buy her one, then I get one the following year. She's gotten the last two in a row (mainly because the dealers were trying to rape me for the new Shelby). This is the newest concept Mustang. If this one makes it to market, it's going to be my year.

Here are some more pics:

Guigiaro Mustang (http://www.cars.com/go/features/autoshows/vehicle.jsp;jsessionid=F53RE53DZLBOZLAYIEPU2UY?vehicletype=concept&autoshowyear=2007&vehicle=concept_mustang_g&make=Mustang&model=Giugiaro&aff=national)

I think I read the studio spent 30,000 man-hours on it. Sure is purdy.

Dont think so buddy, people with no idea or cares about heritage drive cameros and mustangs owners are true coniseurs of fine automobiles with lots of heritage... Besides, Cameros only claim to fame is that after ford would make a new big engine, Camero would come out with a new one in the middle of the year that has 5 more cubic inchs... IMO cameros are for people that cant drive that well so they need the extra speed to compensate for there poor launches and missed or slow shifts LOL

I saw this in a summary of the LA show and liked it. Except for the glass roof. It has a 500 HP SC engine.

As winter settles in up here in the northeast I am contemplating getting an '07 Vette. hmmmmm........

It took me whole 30sec to realize that this wasn't just a "squished" (vertically compressed in photoshop) version of the current one. :) 30,000 man-hours? Sheesh. It does look much better than the current one.

It's a Mustang. You know, as in horse. Pony-car. :)

Anyway, it's horsehide, not "horsehair". That'd be itchy!!

Agree on the rear end. Not my favorite view. The rest is great!!

That single piece of glass from front to back wil not make it into production. Imagine one little crack in the windshield would cost you a bundle to replace as it's part of the roof too.

I also think an all glass roof is not pratical for guys like me who live in Houston where it is boiling hot for 8 months out of the year. I don't care if the sedans I buy have a sunroof or moonroof. They stay closed for all but four or five days a year.

You could get nearly the same effect as the concept with an unobtrusive seam between the windshield and sunroof...not unlike the current Targa.

There's actually a company that produces a glass roof like that for the current Mustang. The Mustang roof is assembled in sections. You pop out the center section and pop in the glass roof (Well, I'm sure it's a lot more complicated than that, but in theory that's how it works).
