I had to take some car pictures today for the insurance company. I keep this one off-site because there's not enough room at the house. It doesn't see the light of day nearly as much as it should. I thought the musclecar guys might like to see it.

This one, I took in the garage tonight when I put them to bed. I think I'd like to recreate this photo out in the street with a double yellow line between them. It would look like there was trouble brewin'.

Hey Grizz,

Nice '71 Torino GT. I have a '70 M-code myself. What are the specs on that car? Do you ever read or post on the TorinoCobra forum?

Jack,

This one is an H-code. I put an Edelbrock and a 750 Demon on it to help it breathe. I added the shaker. I kept the original hood, carb and intake so I can put it all back. I also have the original 14' Magnums. The ones on it now are repops. Here's the cool part; it's got 76,000 original miles and, with the exception of the new hood, it's original paint. It's a bucket/console car with a C-4. I'm always looking for a reasonable hideaway grille and a ribbon tach, in case you come across any. I don't post on any forums except this one. I do read the TorinoCobra Forum occasionally. There are pictures of my car on that site from from a guy who owned the car before. He was in Rhode Island. He sold it to a guy in Georgia, who bought it for his son. The son wanted some import car with a fart muffler, so the guy sold it to me. I'd like to see your car if you have pictures of it.

Jeff,

The garage goes way back the other way. Right now I'm finishing drywall, painting and installing a floor in the back part so I moved these cars forward. Doesn't matter 'cause the Box isn't here. It's still at the body shop having the bumper replaced and the front clip painted. The trouble with having friends do the work for cheap is that you can't rush them.

Happy New Year to you and your family, as well. I've been following the Dragon thread. I don't know yet...maybe.

You asked for it, so here it is...

No, actually, it's the second picture.
:D

I'm finishing a 24x30 shop so I can tear it apart and restore it. I have all he chrome and bits for it, and it'll look like the first pic when done except it's a fastback, not a vert. Oh, and I have a better looking model for mine when it's done. :p

I has 105k on it, and I'm the second registered owner. The original owner bought it in December 1969 in Greenville, SC. It's a bench seat, 351C 4V C4 car, 3:50 posi. I had a '70 in high school / college back in the day.

Nice. I love black but I hate taking care of it.

My brother brought this to my attention today. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GT-Pro-Street-Hot-Rod-Muscle-Car_W0QQitemZ280065040775QQihZ018QQcategoryZ6220QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem It's right up my alley, except I'd have to put the stock interior back in it. Unfortunately, I really have nowhere to put another car...plus Mrs. Grizzly might finally lose it and kill me.

Pete,

Where've you been? We haven't heard much from you lately. I was wondering how much the snow's affecting you. We have relatives in Vail who have been pounded.
