The Notorious CI

Damn, what have I missed!!! All I did was prepare for two weeks for a stinking abuse and neglect trial and I miss all the doggone fireworks. In two seperate threads. (you know which ones). After reading all of the interesting posts (interesting pronounced in the same manner as Bugs Bunny in his famoous cartoon) I feel it's incumbent for me to contribute to this fantastic matrix of ideas composed in our etherworld called "debate."

I wasnt able to pop open my homemade brew, flame popcorn, light an incense, ignite my lava lamp or nothing!! Brucelee, you confounded it by shutting everything down. Burn baby burn!

Let me add my .52 cents (DOOHHH!!!)by making one, simple observation about Grizz's remarks about Rodney K. In my experience a person with that many dismissals is usually a CI (confidential informant). Think about it. King was probably LAPD's biggest rat/fink. A snitch. What do you think?

I missed the whole stinking think. Like RipVanWinkle I wake up and POW, I missed it all.

But what do you think? Can a guy have so many cases dismissed without a tit for tat?

Nah, King's not a rat. He's just another example of a failing justice system. I can only assume you don't do a lot of criminal work. Nobody goes to jail. Nobody. Well, O.K., Martha went, but it was girl jail and she only went for a little while.

Next time you have a few minutes to kill at the courthouse, go sit in on District Court. You'll be appalled. If 1% of all the District Court cases you witness end in jail time, I'll eat my hat. It just doesn't happen.

Actually I'm an assistant DA/Prosecutor here in Lansing. 99% of what I do is criminal which is why I beleive him to be a snitch.

District Court. What a ^**(()hole. HOrrible place. Bodysmells, BO, the works.
