hardtop hardware

Does anyone know what additional hardware one needs to fit a hardtop, if the car didn't originally come with one?
Does anyone who has a hardtop have any comments about them.
My Boxster S is going to be my daily driver, hopefully over the next several winters, and a hardtop sounds like a good idea, but my car didn't come with one and I read somewhere that some additional latches are required, I think.

You need a pair of inserts and bolts to hold them in place. Some call them 'spin locks.' They go into holes next to the roll bar. You probably have black plastic plugs in the holes now.

In 4 years I had my hard top on for 2 weeks just to see what it looked like. But I live in San Jose. Jeff
