Talking New B&B Exhaust

Just had a new B&B stainless exhaust put on my '99 yesterday. I really like it and I guess I gained a few hp. My old muffler was okay, but this is a lot nicer. Has a great sound!

Here is a QT movie of one (not mine) and how it sounds. Sweet!

B&B makes a pretty cool sounds, I guess when i close my eyes I dont hear Porsche. I dont know if there are any good sound bits out there or not, but the Gemballa has one of the best sounds I ave heard for the Boxster exhausts.

Nice!

How much did you pay for the Exhaust?

Also, jfmillr, how much is the Gemballa exhaust?

I have the B&B sport exhaust on my 01 S, its not the sound I wanted, but wanted some more HP, may have gotten that, not sure, The sound is too tinney for me, but will probably leave it o
n for a while. Knowing what I know now, would not do it again.

The Gemballa stainless steel exhaust costs about $1800 US Dollars, but with the sound and HP gain I would have paid 2k for it
If I get a chance after I get my car back from the shop in about a 1 1/2 weeks I will create a soundbite of how the Gemballa sounds. best description I can give would be that it creates a really DEEP throaty sound that isnt really loud at idle, but obviously more throaty and upgraded, but when you take off it sounds better then any music you have ever heard, as I like to think music to my ears. My exhaust system is probably one reason I have never upgraded my cars stereo system, Listening to the car is all I need.

waiting to hear what that sounds like jfmillr.

A friend of mine has a Fabspeed exhaust on his 2002 carrera.
Really sounds nice.
They also make one for the boxster.
Check out this website.
